2020-6-24, CPW BRIDGE School Graduates 2020 Slideshow

Last Thursday CPW's Gifted Corner performed at Iona University in a program hosted by Senior Annika Ziels, and with the support of the Pi Kappa Phi-Iona College fraternity, as part of Iona’s Abilities Week 2024. CPW’s Ollie Lowery, Claudia Tomkins, Jennifer Feltenstein and Nickolas Wheeler showed off their singing, cooking, poetry talents and vast sports knowledge to an entranced student audience. Thank you for having us! CPW's Gifted Corner can't wait to perform again.
The Gifted Corner is a production of CPW’s We the People Self-Advocates Team, whose mission includes “shifting perceptions by showing what we can bring to society . . . Let’s Stand Together and Be Better Together!”

On Friday, CPW’s United Preschool Center welcomed White Plains High School Junior Siddhant (Sidd) Sawant to unveil his Eagle Scout project at the playground: a movable music wall, movable abacus, hanging blackboards, and planter boxes. These playground structures will attract children to play as well as help them to acquire essential developmental skills. Sidd worked extremely hard to create age-appropriate toys for our playground - building everything in eight days with a total of 100 combined hours. We’re so excited for the new addition and to give the children something beautiful and engaging to explore. Sidd would like to thank his troop and council leaders for their invaluable guidance throughout the planning process, his fellow scouts for their unwavering support and assistance, Joan Colangelo, Marcy Weintraub, and CPW management for entrusting him with the project, and Anthony Campanella Jr from Campanella Fence in Mahopac, NY, and their team for sponsoring his project and partnering with him to bring it to completion. ...
