The United Preschool Center, located in White Plains, offers an integrated learning experience for children with and without disabilities. Teachers and therapists work together to help children develop their cognitive and social skills. The Preschool provides special education and therapy for children with special needs between the ages of 3 and 5. The program provides each child with an individualized program based on their individualized Education Plan (IEP) developed by the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE). Program services operate weekdays between 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., on a 10-month session and six-week summer program. Approved by both the New York State Department of Education and the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. The school provides a wide range of services including speech and language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, assistive technology services, social work services, psychological counseling, music therapy.
