The Cerebral Palsy of Westchester residential program provides a variety of ways for individuals to be part of their communities. Yearly vacations, excursions, and community outings of individual interests enable individuals to participate and engage in activities within their community. Individuals living in our residences attend religious services, spiritual retreats and holiday events in their local churches or synagogues based on their interests.

Cerebral Palsy of Westchester residential programs provide opportunities for independence and productivity to all individuals that we serve. Participants in our programs are supported in reaching their highest possible potential and are given the opportunity to develop his/her own skills that lesson dependence and promote self-esteem, value and self-worth. These goals are reached through a team effort from the clinicians, managers, and direct care staff, all working together to promote independence. The residential program provides opportunities for individuals to engage in various life skills and experiences that are meaningful to them, as well as making a meaningful contribution to their community
