The Barrier Breakers team is open to children and young adults who reside in Westchester County and are eligible for services through OPWDD. Team members have the opportunity to build confidence, develop social skills, participate in physical activity and compete against other wheelchair basketball teams in the area. Practice is held two Saturday’s a month from 9:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m. September to June at the David G. Osterer Center in Rye Brook.
